Separate the government fee from every other charge.

The ordinary temporary-stay extension application fee is THB 1,900. Re-entry permission costs THB 1,000 for a single entry or THB 3,800 for multiple entries within the remaining stay. A visa or status-conversion application is separate. These are government application fees; paying does not guarantee approval or add time automatically.

The re-entry figures come from the Immigration public handbook. The published retirement conversion sheet sets its own application fee. Do not substitute that conversion fee for an annual extension fee.

Charges that should be kept separate

A government application fee, a visa fee charged by an embassy, an agent’s service charge, and a commercial membership price are different items. A fee table cannot turn an agent quotation into an official Immigration charge. Keep the named service, payee and receipt clear when comparing costs.

Embassy visa fees may be set in a local currency. The current mission checklist controls that application; the domestic extension figure does not determine the cost of applying for a new visa abroad. Read the relevant route page for its issuing authority.

What the fee does not buy

Payment is not an approval, a faster queue, a guaranteed stamp or proof that the evidence is sufficient. The Jomtien guide records published hours but gives no invented same-day service promise. Check the actual outcome and receipt, rather than treating payment alone as permission to stay.

For travel, a re-entry permit preserves qualifying remaining permission; it does not extend the expiry date. For a longer stay, use the extension guide and your actual entry category.

Before paying

  • Identify the exact government application.
  • Check the current official source and date for the fee.
  • Separate any optional service or document-production charge.
  • Keep the official receipt and verify the recorded decision.

This page does not authenticate a universal Jomtien residence-letter charge, payment method, priority service or local document-preparation price. Those items remain unknown here. Use the source and receipt checks before relying on a sales promise.
