December 2026 Pattaya Visa Planning: Bank Holiday Dates
Arrange bank letters and statements before the December holiday dates. Keep your bank appointment and your Immigration visit as separate tasks.
December dates
- 5 December: King Bhumibol’s birthday, National Day and Father’s Day; Saturday observance.
- 7 December: the Bank of Thailand lists the substitute holiday for financial institutions.
- 10 December: Constitution Day, listed as a financial-institution holiday.
- 31 December: New Year’s Eve, listed as a financial-institution holiday.
Ask the bank before travelling
- Name the exact letter, statement or account record you need.
- Confirm the issuing branch, collection date and identification requirements.
- Ask whether a holiday changes that branch’s counter service or collection arrangements.
- Keep the date on the document aligned with the current requirements for your application.
Keep these dates separate
Record your permission-to-stay expiry, document issue date and planned filing date separately. Take your own records to the responsible office when checking the filing arrangements.

Crossing into January
