Plan your winter stay around the dates in your own documents. Put arrival, permission to stay, reporting and any departure on separate calendar entries before choosing an office visit.
Build a winter stay folder
- Keep your passport identity page, visa record and latest permission-to-stay stamp together.
- Write down the expiry shown on the permission record, then identify which Immigration service you need.
- Keep accommodation and address-reporting receipts with the stay record.
- Use a separate entry for each traveller’s document dates.
Book the task, then the journey
Choose the right service before making travel plans. A reporting task, an extension and a re-entry permit use different processes. Keep the application confirmation and any receipt beside the relevant date.
