An "extension of stay" is the Thai immigration term for renewing your visa from inside Thailand at an immigration office, vs traveling to a Thai embassy abroad. Most long-stay visas (retirement Non-O, marriage Non-O) are extended annually at Pattaya/Jomtien immigration. ฿1,900 fee.
